One final duel in the mountains ends and the stories and heroes of another Giro go into the record books.

Basically full points for everyone except myself and OzzyDuPalais - who forgot to post and forfeited today's free points for Vingegaard - very frustrating!

Neither of which affected the top of the PTP GC however as per here:

Pblakeney goes into Stage 21 in Pink but there are several players within 10 points who could steal the victory at the death in Rome. Will there be a PTP sting in the tail?

Tactically I should wait to pick except I've got a big ride early in the morning.

Milan did indeed finally win but only delivered points for his loyal backers at the back-end of the PTP peloton meaning that pblakeney holds on to the pink jersey, having been the only outright owner throughout the race. Complimenti!

Final scores are here:

With Vingegaard cruising to the win, almost everyone scored big on GC and the field was separated by relatively few points.

Thanks to all for playing along. A week or so off now until the next PTP leg - the Dauphine (or Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) as the build-up to the Tour properly gets underway.
