Pump with compact head for small wheels

Hello,

I find my the valve attachment bit of both my track pumps is difficult to attach to small (14") wheels. Can anyone please recommend a pump that works with well with presta valves on small wheels?

This is for the parent of a smol hooman are refurbished an Islabike for, so the more user friendly it is, the better.

Have you tried using valve extenders.

Halfords used to do a Schrader to Presta adapter that consists of a hose which screws onto the presta valve and then goes into a pump head. They don't have an obvious option right now when I checked - there were some for Schrader or Presta but no explicit compatibility with both (either about £3).

Weldtite seem to do what I was originally looking for.

I grabbed one of these. A bit more expensive, but probably easier to use with a track pump.

Try attacking the valve from both sides of the wheel. With my Brompton, the Joe Blow track pump will fit on one side only.
