I built this up from parts I already had, a nice Italian frame with pantographing to head tube forks and stays, painted by Frank Hoste 1984 TDF green jersey winner, I found the Campag Headset in a the shed.

Well the vice is Record not sure about the headset, it was in a tin in the shed, it's from the early 80's in remarkably good condition, it is bit shallow for the length of steerer thread on the fork, so it's spaced with a couple of rings from a hard drive.

It's a Gran Premio, I only dug the headset out from the shed, the frame came from a guy in Eindhovan, Chesini sent bare frames and they were painted by Frank Hoste the tubing is a mystery, may be nothing special, but the frame is light, forks are heavy,(maybe the steerer) I have read the tubes were produced by Colombus especially for Chesini, I have also read Oria tubes were used.

I agree with both of you, but it was very much a use what I have build, hence the thread title, I did have to buy a bottom bracket as it's Italian threaded.
