Very true to life, there are people like that.

He came and opened our local independent bookshop's new premises a few years ago, when he was probably about 80. He gave a much more articulate speech than many slebs half his age and told a whole stream of anecdotes about the filming of Dad's Army with great affection for his fellow cast members.

Fab series i am still watching it,my all time fave.I know i need to get a life.

Allo Allo and M*A*S*H are a close second and third.Also not forgeting the Likely Lads.
