Depends what you want out of them and how much you want to spend!

Co-incidently, I have a set of those (came with my FFWD wheels), but have never used them.

They are not the lightest for the money but they should work just fine.

General comments I have seen is that heavy Shimano QR's lock very well, but are heavy. Lightweight skewers are very light but take more fiddling to get the right level of engagement. I have no experience to support this though.

lightweight skewers need to be used more carefully that standard ones as they are not as strong
You need to get the correct length too
Standard Shimano skewers are fool proof! Spend £50 on a lightweight titanium pair and you'll end up breaking them if you don't know what you're doing!
I have a pair of Mavic skewers for sale for £7 posted (see the sale section)

TBH i dont think the weight issue will bother me im no Sagan, but maybe my super duper carbon cages will offset the extra weight.
At this point in my cycling career(joke) id go for something that locks better.

a pair of mid-range Shimano's will offer the best value for money, be very strong and lock up well (although not that light)

Can't beat Shimano for quality and safety. You can get Ultegra QR's on Fleabay for around £20 or cheaper ones for around a tenner.
