Hee..hee. it's great having an MRI expert on here.................

OK...

Looks like I am going private for a consultancy with my shoulder...... I'll bear the £180 cost.....as a one off.......like a hole in the fuggin head.....

But, I have yet to have my shoulder MRI'ed... neck was done (could have told them it was OK and I even queried it last May..at the scan...) but to go private.... £350 for a MRI and £900 for the MR Arthrogram...:ohmy::ohmy: shoot............... the Arthrogram involves injecting 'medium' or metallic crap into the body.....
So Mags, what will the 'medium' help to show up....as that's some extra bucks... not like I can afford either................ or should I push the NHS side for the 'works'....!!

So far I'm thinking go for the independent, no pressure 'chat' and then get referred for the expensive scan...NHS waiting list for a consultancy are at least 2 months, probably more now everyone has slipped on ice..... and another wait for MRI again...

Not very happy with BC's solicitors at the moment.....they do not reply to emails or voice mails.......I just want advice.......maybe they are at capacity with felled cyclists...I hope not........

Rant Over...................;)

Re MRI timescales Fossy, my NHS one took 8 months for a potential brain tumour. It would have been woth paying the £800 to aviod the sleepless nights..
