Rusty Nails

We remember
To provide more evidence to the heart consultant that they should increase my max rate above 150 I bought a Polar heart rate monitor and have been using it on my last few rides coupled with the PolarFlow app. On these rides I have been improving my climbing but still have problems on the steeper climbs. The app shows that heart rate has been capped at 150 several times, always coinciding with these hills. I hope to be able to show that increasing the max to 160 or even higher shouldn't be a problem and further improve my climbing.

One thing I have been pleased at is that once I have reached these highest rates then ease off the effort my heart rate drops back to a low rate very quickly.
