Well all built: Just waiting for another graphics card to arrive, a 1GB mediocre one which is perfectly fine for even the latest version of Photoshop and will run on a 300w power supply. Still need some more RAM to take it from 4 to 8Gb.
I also purchased a Windows 7 64bit pro license for 19 quid from Software Geeks which is installed and activated. Had to activate via the automated phone system but I expected that. Just doing the updates now and will go straight to Windows 10.
so 40 for the motherboard and processor, 17 for the Graphics card, another 20 for memory and I bought a bigger hard disk for 14 as mine was given to son1. Haven't gone SSD as I was sticking to covering the cost with stuff I sold on ebay.
Haven't had much of a chance to appraise it yet but it appears to be quite quick and a lot quicker than the current laptop. Should serve me well.
