it's been going for a long time and has built up a reputation for being a 'toughy' on both bikes and riders so winning it has to be something special.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the dry its a tough race but it becomes a super hard race when the weather turns and the fans like to see the riders battling the elements and the cobbles which become lethal when wet. Which is probably why it scored high on the excitement level.

Because it is a real race, and only the hard men win it hence why Contador, Evans, Levi and that tour lot dont ride it.
Even Hincapie perfers the rough cobbles of Roubaix to the Tour.
Once you have won a Roubaix you are an eternal great and the race holds so much respect from the riders, teams and fans. This also applys for the Ronde van Vlaanderen
