Quick Release mudguards?

I just got absolutely piss wet through, mainly from the spray from my own bike. I wonder does anyone know, is there such a thing as quick release mud guards, and of so are they any good? I use my race bike for doing my short (1 + 1/2 miles!!) commute to work and so wouldn't want mudguards as a permanent feature...

yes, and i left mine on one day and they got nicked! (this was on old mountain bike which i used to leave outside of work)
