Quick tyre question

I`m currently riding a (borrowed) self built hybrid while I sort out my C2W bike. It has 26x1.95 MTB tyres (knobblies). my riding is 90% road and I`m looking to replace the tyres with these

I know they`re cheap but I only need them for a short while. My question is will they give me the increase in speed that I desire on the road?
