The sun is supposed to be out and you want to watch tv  I plan to miss all the televised events and go bike riding , allotmenting , bbqing, and drinking beering hic

I will do most of those and some more and watch the sport, plenty of day light about.

Our BT box records these things, I'm not too bothered about seeing them live but I'd rather watch those than the drivel that passes for drama these days.

Will have a flutter on the National and we're going down the road to watch the boat race live from the start line! I'll be cheering on Oxford, of course... Hope to sneak in some of the Paris Roubaix but will likely end up having to avoid spoilers and watch it piece-meal on catch up TV

Exactly, and if you don't like it, don't watch it. I personally hate The Grand National, so don't watch it, but that is just it, no need to make comments about 'who cares?' and so on.

Who cares?

Let him who is without sin, cast the first stone...

How much does it cost to Oldham?
Don't remind me. You'd think I'd be used to United winning, given that they've spent most of my life doing it, but the thought of losing this one to them is upsetting.

City will go at the Reds like a blunderbuss-they've always turned up at United even when they were bobbins. Should be a good game.

Glad I don't have to be in Manchester Sunday evening though.
