Similar in fact to the last time a Brit won the Masters. Norman was five shots up at the start of the last day and collapsed as Faldo utterly destroyed him as they played together. One of the best sporting events I have seen.

I vaguely remember that. Norman was my favourite golfer (probably still is) and I was absolutely gutted.

I was only 10 and couldn't understand how it could go so badly wrong.
