Indeed 27.7%. Which, given the variation (Lambeth Bridge not very many, Blackfriars Bridge lots and lots) is quite something

In any decent pub quiz, plus or minus three percentage points means that I'm right from memory. What amazes me it that Dave "I'm scared of cycling" Hill points out what Cyclists in the City and all his commenters don't - that the stats demonstrate that there can be growth in cycling without expensive infrastructure.

Just out of interest how much was spent on LCN+ in total and how many bridges (not many) that would carry just cyclists and pedestrians would this build on that section of the river? And do you think it would have been better value for money building bridges?

Talking of London bridges, I have been forced to use Tower Bridge of late , as the Greenwich foot tunnel us shut, and I am surprised how narrow the sodding thing is . There's barely enough room for a cyclist to overtake on the outside. It's enough to make you take the Rotherhithe tunnel - NOT.
