RIP Felice... this is worth a look, even if Google's auto translate on the subtitles is slightly strange...

One of my cycling heroes when I first got into the sport. He looked so stylish on a bike.

I'll have to buy that Salvarani replica jersey I've been meaning to get for a while.

This great Italian champion died yesterday, age 76, of a heart attack. He won the TdF in 1965, Giro 1967 and Vuelta 1968. One of the select greats who won all three Grand Tours.
He created a sensation when he won the 1965 TdF that Jacques Anquetil didn't enter due to illness. Every body expected Raymond Poulidor to win it but then again, he came second behind Gimondi.
A great champion is joining the other greats.
