Groundhog day is a comedy classic. Ghostbusters has dated (due to the CGI) but Groundhog day is as good today as it was in 1993.
Just looking at the list for films he wrote and directed is like a back catalogue of my youth.

But Groundhog Day stanfds out as his classic, Bill Murray at his finest, the Sonny and Cher clock radio is iconic.

Groundhog Day is one of the best films of all time IMO. I hope they knock all attempts at remaking Ghostbusters on the head as a mark of respect.
