Phil May, frontman of The Pretty Things, has died in Kings Lynn hospital of complications from emergency hip surgery after falling off his bike earlier this week.

Very sad news. We worked with Phil and the band on their Balboa Island album a few years back. Such a lovely, funny, genuine, talented man. Another great artist lost.
