One of his lesser known films, is A Shot at Glory, where he plays Gordon McCloud coaching a hapless Celtic team featuring none other than Ally McCoist in his first (and I believe only) acting role. The only reason I know about this film is because it was filmed at Kilmarnock's Rugby Park.

The only thing more tragic than Duvall's attempt at a Scottish accent is that McCoist (who was playing for Rangers at the time) wore his Rangers top under the Hoops so they "wouldn't touch his skin".

Also featuring Michael Keaton, Brian Cox and Cole Hauser as well as a score from Mark Knopfler, it's truly one of the worst films ever, and yet one of my proudest possessions.

Great review, thanks. I like McCoist's hat.

As a curious fact, in the scene of Vito's party in "The Godfather 2" they left the table in the same order that the actors died in real life. Michael is the only one standing, just like Al Pacino.

Pacino was born in 1940 too.
So was the same age as Caan despite being the youngest in the film.
Was Freddo the middle brother?
I think Tom and Sonny are the same age in the book.
