Very sad. Saw him at Hyde Park in the summer and was still putting on a great show.

Really sad to hear this. I regularly play Tom and was hoping he might make another album. A big regret I never saw him live.

Apparently at this time he is still alive and statements re his death have been retracted

The NYT is stating that reports of his death were due to a mistake by CBS. They(NYT) report that he was taken off life support and was unresponsive.

According to last nights news they took him off life support because he was brain dead. It's pretty hard to come back from that.

Moving forward to this morning, and CBS have been vindicated. The poor fellow remains brown bread.
