Raceface Cinch ?

Hello all,

My bike has a Raceface Cinch system going on but I have some confusion about it !

So does my BB, Chainring and Crank all have to be from Raceface for the Cinch system to work properly ?

For example, I know that the chainring has to be a Cinch chainring (obviously) likewise do the cranks ... but if I were to change my BB to any other brand other than Raceface, such as shimano or hope for example would the cranks and chainring be compatible ?

Sorry this might be confusing !!

Current setup :

Cranks - Raceface Cinch
Chainring - Raceface 30T Cinch
BB - Raceface

Hypothetical Setup :

Cranks - Raceface Cinch
Chainring - Raceface 32T Cinch
BB - Hope

Essentially, does the BB used in a Cinch System differ from a normal BB ?

Cinch is only compatible with other cinch kit.

My cinch BB is a 30mm dia..so its bigger than a standard size

I replaced my raceface cinch BB with a hope one. No issues. As above its a 30mm BB not the nominal 24mm. But Hope do them.

All I had to do was play around with the spacers slightly to ensure a good chainline.

I'm also a wimp and dropped down to a 28T front ring as well

I have 28-30-32..i love the 28 for wet muddy and hilly stuff..
