Racer wanted

Im after a 70s, 80s or early 90s steel framed drop barred racer to use as a Winter tool.

Doesn't have to be mint, but tidy preferred. Needs to be a large frame, preferably located within a reasonable distance of South Northants.

Nothing too pricy - I'm after something sacrificial to preserve my best bikes in the foul weather.

I'm eyeing a couple on eBay, but would sooner my money went to someone on here if you have a scoot that fits the bill.

Huge thanks to Biggs for taking the time to show me round his incredible collection of bikes and frames. Unfortunately, it's all good quality kit and this a little pricy for what I'm intending to use it for. Nevertheless, nice bloke and I'm grateful for his time.

So, I'm still looking if anyone has one.

Roger. I'm going back tonight to pay the blerk and collect it. New tyres, new bar tape and a good strip and lube and itll be ready to go. it looks really sorry but it all actually works. I'll pop a pic in the classic section.
