The Ratracer SL is FWD; this Ratracer definitely isn't.

At £1250 for a unique Burrows machine, I'd call it an astonishing bargain. What else can you get for that money? Only the new Burrows VLR is likely to be significantly faster (and you can't have one of those). Even if it isn't road legal and so is somewhat restricted in its use you could have tremendous fun with it - and the World Championships will be in easily-accessible Holland next year...

But I already have five recumbents

I would like a recumbent to fill a gap in my stable, but this looks far too demanding for me.
