Racing

I want to start racing but I'm not a member of a club.
I was wondering what kit is allowed and what are restrictions on it.

You will need a road bike and a helmet, and suitable clothing, I.e. some lycra.

No bullbars etc unless on a time trial.

For specific equipment restrictions it will depend on the type of road race. Criteriums, time trials, etc etc.

I'd recommend joining a club, doing some chaingangs, and then you'll be able to handle yourself more competently in a group at high speed.
