I ride everyday, all through the winter have missed 5 days because of snow, the weekend rides go in the opposite direction to work.

Apparently the Met Office sent a very quiet apology to some one in the government for not forecasting the weeks and weeks of heavy rain we had last year having predicted a long hot summer following the drought last winter. They have form in getting the weather forecast totally wrong. TBH the seaweed on the North Norfolk coast gives a better indication of weather to come.

As usual, the reality is less interesting that the hype...a bit like the last time when they said XX% chance of warm, much smaller xx% chance of rainy, and everyone stopped listening after they said the word 'warm'...
