I didn't know these existed until a couple of weeks ago when I saw someone wearing them at an audax.

Rainlegs were featured on Dragons' Den over 10 years ago and got savaged by the Dragons, but the woman who invented them went into production anyway without support from them. It seems like she was right and they were wrong!

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
I've used them for years. They're much less annoying than full overtrousers, keeping your knees and above warm and fairly dry but not sweaty, but your lower legs are going to get completely wet through and slowly fill your shoes and socks with water, so they're not perfect.

I have some for use on the trike that has a fairing. they keep me dry in all but torrential weather.
