Hi
Has anyone cycled in Rajasthan in February/March time and can comment on the weather conditions please?

Morning, the only thing constant in India is the weather. I haven't cycled there but you can expect a lot of dry and humid days with slightly cooler nights as you will be cycling closer to the desert. Rajasthan is almost a desert state (THAR, the Great Indian desert) but also a beautiful state to cycle - deserts + hills + palaces with architectural richness + rural country side + wild life.

Day time temperatures (February - March) should be between 28-34 degree Celsius minimum. Probably cooler at nights (20-21 degrees celsius).

Good luck.

I cycled from Delhi to Bikaner in Feb 2024. It was sunny and warm (around 24/25 degs). Night will bring desert cold. Camels will be found everywhere, but more often in the local roads; here's a glimpse from a earlier tour around Jaipur in 2023:

For info the main highways in Rajasthan generally have a hard shoulder of around 1 metre width to cycle on (check on google street view). But these can sometimes be covered with sand. Sand dunes mean undulating roads.
