I know a manager for Raleigh, If he can get me a good discount on my next carbon upgrade I'll get one. The discount has to be significant though or I'll just find a good deal on some other make.

There is a write up in ? Cycling plus this month that rates the new Raleigh road bike as the absolute dogs kahuna's (cant remeber the mdel but it was about 2k) - will post name later when home, but they seemed truly amazed by it.

Raleigh makes some bikes that are considered a good "bang for the buck". I own a Raleigh M60 MTB and it is nicely equipped with a Deore drivetrain. It's an OK bike for what I paid ($325 shipped on ebay). They tend to be a little on the heavy side though.

I've a 2012 Airlite 100 which, when the steel fork was replaced for a carbon one by Raleigh under warranty, has performed well.

Tomorrow I'll hit 2000 miles in it as a commuter bike in well under a year with no other issues apart from a suspected damaged fork.

Another raliegh rider here. 2012 Airlite 400, not had any problems in just over 1700 miles in 8 months, really pleased with it.

My first (and currently only road bicycle) is a Raleigh Airlite 400, 2011 model.

It's brilliant in my opinion, I would certainly buy another Raleigh bike.
Nicely built and good value for money.

I met a guy riding one of these a few weeks back. He was really impressed with it, and I was really jealous of him
