Raleigh Chopper gear lever??

Does any one know how the slider arm works in the gear lever for a Raleigh chopp because I was going to make one??

Thanks for replying but I mean the slider arm which shows you what gear you are in

you mean the fluo orange thing? that'll be attached the white plastic thing on the top picture and i guess, sits on the black plastic rectangle on the bottom picture. Lever moves, it moves.

From memory (over 35 years ago!) the end of the cable connects to the white plastic part. The flouro orange indicator is stuck to the flat black plastic plate which sits further back on the centre console - these some doohicky mechanism that moves the black plastic part in unison with the white plastic part.

Not the best description in the world but it's quite a simple lever & pushrod mechanism
