Further to my question about the merits of this bike for both short distance poodling and long trips, I've never been very comfortable on many modern bikes, find them too short, upright and cramped for my 6ft height. But the Grande seems better, really comfortable ... no doubt there are many bikes just as suitable. As you see, I'm really naive at the moment!!

I would get yourself down to your local bike shop & ask for their input. You're not the only 6' guy out there (I'm 6'4") it may be that the bike you have needs tweaking such as a different stem to get the correct fit.

Yeah suggest going to your nearest independent bike shop one that's been there a while as most likely means they are half descent. Ask there opinion take your current bike with you and explain your needs you will be anble to get a fairly good set of tyres that will fit your bike

All this is just what I would do but if your really happy with the grande then go for it just be sure it's what you want and need.
