I have a beloved Raleigh Record I bought with my first paycheck in 1975. Now I have retired and as I broke out my old Record, I discovered one of the three shoulder bolts holding the crank to the front chain wheel is missing. I pulled it's mate and it appears to be 26tpi. Any wizards here know what kind of threading was in use in those ancient days? Thanks for reading.

eBay is your friend when it comes to stuff like this.
There's bound to be some for yours on there somewhere.

Any chance of a photograph of the chain wheel to give us a clue as to what it could be?
