That is tidy but you could argue that it's a bit expensive in today's market.

Yes, I agree. It’s just another example of what value is out there for fans of traditional bikes. My old FW Evans sits in this category as its value falls, but it remains a lovely bike.

I would still give it some room in the garage amongst all my other steel machines.

Some of the old FW Evans stuff was very dedent machinery. Some of their early MTBs in particular were a real cut above.
