Just making sure that you know that the dust covers screw out? I didn't the first time I came across them and ended up braking one until my mate asked what the hell was I doing. This was when I first got into bikes though.

Couldn't get the freewheel off as my shimano tool would not fit, as it's needs a bigger tool. Took it to my LBS to see if they had a tool I could buy, but he took it of for me for £2 ^_^ . Headset, pedals, gear cables/adjustment and handlebar tape tomorrow.

Looks like a nice useable project.
I can vouch for the green kitchen panscrubs,i am using them on the bike i am doing a rolling restoration project on.
Nice to work on older type bikes.

HI.
I've got one of these - almost identical - and am about to embark on tidying it up. Just found out how to date it - the first digit is the year...so a 3 would be 1973 etc. I think the second letter refers to the month as well.

Watch out for the frame wobble at speed. Mine was dreadful.
