Un-f*cking-real.

A £14.4 m loss in Div 2 and £8.3 m in Division 1, which are both part time leagues. Seriously?!

A sledgehammer to crack a nut doesn't come close. Vanity signings such as Black, Templeton, Daly, Bell, Law etc when they could have developed a young team not playing under pressure which could have matured through the divisions...

So they are looking to raise £8 million through another share issue? Good luck finding enough idiots to invest in that! Unfortunately they probably will. There are enough fools with their red white and blue heads firmly stuck in the sand, who will gladly sell the family jewels to keep their club afloat until the next share issue.

They knocked back an 8 million investment the other week

The (alleged) fraudster managed to get bail.
Which is quite generous of the court, given that he turned up trying to get into Mexico a few days after failing to appear at court. I'm quite sure that he was, of course, just heading there for a well earned holiday in the sun; and that he had simply forgotten that he was due to appear in court - as you do. Presumably he doesn't read any papers or view any other type of media either .

Nice to see the stress of his situation has caused him to lose one or two of his chins:

The boxout in that article. Several people running the club getting big money (£1.4 million-ish), if they are losing that much they aren't really doing their jobs very well are they? They should be on a percentage of the profits instead. Oh..

Nearly £15 million on staff costs and only 7m of that 15m is playing staff  ,plus even if current players played for free , the club would still be losing money

It is attitudes of certainty that will be Rangers downfall.

There will always be a rangers as long as supporters are willing to pay to support them , just a matter of scale though , the good times are long gone !

Agreed. Their support is seriously on the decline. In time I suspect they'll be left with only the most hardened bluenoses, and probably the most unpleasant elements of their old fan base.

Perhaps some of their more reasonable supporters will start to support their local teams? Wishful thinking probably.

Could start a new team and call it Glasgow United and play out of Hampden , the strip would be blue and green , now that's wishful thinking
