Rangers Liquidation

I think the use of EBTs are wrong myself but has already been ruled on that they were legal ( they didn't legally have to pay the tax) , your simplifying it though , not as straight forward as spending too much , the debt when Craig Whyte bought the company was manageable but the company had no credit line because of the threat of EBTs , so really it was the combination of the threat of a big tax bill which never materialised and the bank getting paid back and no further credit line that did them .
IMO Craig Whyte was brought in to liquidate Rangers .
I don't think there is any doubt that was the "business" plan.
There is still more to come out of Ibrox and the current lot of "businessmen" in charge are probably up to their necks in it too!

Had someone tell me the other week that he thought Whyte was just unlucky
Aye a few business men will be bricking it , I do not think Whyte will spill his guts though going by his recent interview , he is sticking to his story .

Whyte has a history....and it's not one of naivety! There are still names to be named.......

My theory is Whyte was brought in by the bank who got 18 million of the 22 million they were owed back , this seems very odd unless they knew Whyte was coming in to liquidate Rangers , would Whyte not try to pay less for the 22 million or even just pay off say 5 million of debt , why pay 18 million when the bank know they will be lucky to get a million if Rangers go into administration .

Carry on chaps, Scotch football has never been so exciting since the days of yore at Wembley Stadium.

Harsh (though slightly fair).

Ironic post of the year

You've already demonstrated you have not a clue about "hate crime" in your attempts to make it out that your team's version of hatred was based on ethnicity, nor the slightest degree of self-awareness regarding your team and it's history of loyalist bigotry and how this is viewed by others.

tug shouts "lies", you shout "victim". It's a poor double act.

You seem to think I defend Bigotry and sectarianism , I do not , it is a cancer in the Rangers support that needs to be removed !!!
In your post you called Loyalists Scum , whether they are Rangers supporters has nothing to do with it, if you read the hate laws it comes down to whether a Loyalist is an identifiable ethnic group
which I would say is open to debate if you read the definition of ethnic group.

For the record I am not a loyalist and voted yes to Scottish independence .
