Hi guys. Here's an eyes-up in case someone offers you a rare recumbent racer at a silly price. I'm talking about an HP Velotechnik Speedmachine in red. It has hub gears at the rear and a hub dynamo at the front. It may well be offered without the seat cushions as it was stolen in London without its cushions (while securely padlocked). It would be virtually unrideable without them. There's only around 300 of these rather expensive machines in the UK. If you have any information, please either inform your local police quoting the bike details and the owners name, Marcus Hitchins, or email Marcus directly on: marcus7777@gmail.com
Due to pre-existing injuries, Marcus's mobility is seriously handicapped by this theft, so please keep those eyes peeled.
P.S.: The (archive) image above is of a similar model. Note the handlebars, as some owners opt for the alternate form that mounts below the main tube.
Thank you!

Unless you have ridden one before they are not the sort of thing you just jump on and ride away. You certainly dont without a seat, even if you can ride one.

Unless you are into recumbents, you wouldnt even know how to pass it on.

I would also post your loss on the Velovision website so they can look out for it.

Its worth letting Laid back cycles know as well and ask if they will put it on their Web page. They have followed all over the place.
