OP...looks good, but the bread looks too thin. I think it might break down once the egg is added

Salad cream...WTF!?!? No, that's just wrong!

And I admire the double saucing, but tomato for egg, and brown for bacon or sausage.

On a slight tangent but has anyone else tried poached eggs on toast, with the toast buttered and then a thin smear of Marmite apllied?. Totally transforms it ;).

No, because like everything to do with Marmite that's evil.

Bovril on scrambled eggs on toast, on the other hand....

It's a bit more complicated than that...
It's been pretty free-ranging, really, taking the shellfishness of eaters into account. Not too much grousing from the more hard-boiled regulars, and only a handful of posters needing coddling.
