Rate this holiday to Madeira

So does it mean that the holiday is £850, but if shared by 2 it works out at the advertised £425 each? If so I could still take it but pay £850, not £425 for 7 nights. I knew it was too good to be true.

Just ask them how much it is for one person. It doesn’t sound particularly cheap for one week only B&B as eating out can be quite spendy in Madeira. Maybe ask about half board deals

I went to a cafe this week,it seemed it was World Cake Day,All cakes were a pound with a latte.So i chose a latte and a nice bit of fruit cake,That will be £2-50 love,but it's World Cake day so only a pound,ah but that cake is maderia cake.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i'll get my coat.

Have you never booked a package holiday in all of your 64 years on earth @Accy cyclist, it even says on the poster based on 2 adults sharing, that is how holidays are generally priced / advertised. Mind you a dapper chap like yourself shouldn't be short of potential suitors for a week in Madeira??

Its at its best climate wise in winter, assuming you survive the landing.

Great place to visit, no sandy beaches so families with young brats kids stay away.

The airport is fine, and security far better than Manchester when you have a disability (I was in a wheelchair in January). Lovely temperature also. Not ideal for bike riding though, stupidly hilly, but it's very pretty and lots to see in Funchal.

That is actually the hotel we stayed at in Madeira in 2016, and it is pretty high quality, just outside Funchal (walkable to town centre if you are reasonably fit, plenty of buses otherwise) - Note it is half board, rather than B&B - Flights are from Bristol, Gatwick or Manchester.

The price per person is £499, but if you select just one person, it is £864, so not double, but quite a bit more than the PP price for two.
