And of course it has a desired soft top, in none marking black as well. Unlike my beige one which is hard to keep clean.

Yoy may struggle with parts and spares to keep a Copen on the road.

Not so much parts I've just read, saying even though many Daihatsu dealers have closed, parts are still available from online sellers...so it, not me said! It seems the bigger problem is corrosion! I've also just read that they don't use salt on the roads in Japan, and Daihatsu didn't use extra body rot protection on those destined for the European market, where obviously we in northern and central Europe do use lots of salt. It said the rear wheel arches are problematic and not only the body, but they have to be serviced every 3000 miles from new to keep the turbo in good nick. If they haven't then a new turbo with import duties from Japan, if you can't find one over here could cost around £1,000. That wouldn't be so bad as you'd save a lot on one of those Copens I've linked, so you'd still be 'quids in' as they say. Anyway I messaged 2 of the sellers of those cars, yet neither has replied which makes me think 'well, if they don't want my money, let's move on'! I've also noticed the alloys on at least two of those linked Copelands are badly scuffed, which would annoy me immensely! Also one has significant rust bubbling over the rear left wheel which sets the alarm bells off, wouldn't you say?!🤔

Too low down for comfort I've decided. Also, very hard to climb out of, especially in an emergency situation! And they look and sound far too long for my parking abilities!

About 4cm longer than a Mini Cooper. Yeah if you have mobility and strength issues , could be too low down.
