Talking to a young woman in Tesco later who also has as off white Fiat 500 she told me she took her eye off the road the other day and ran into the back of the car in front, adding that she offered to pay the driver of that car £400 for repairs as if she claimed off her insurance it'd double from £1,000 a,year to £2,000! Compared to her problem, my dent/crease is nothing!!😏

It'd probably cost £400 just to get an estimate for the repair in some places.

My relative just had this. The other party not wanting to go through insurance. They got a quote £1900 to repair and repaint body work.

Other party is now going through insurance, surprised at the costs

I know his repair will easily double through insurance because they will now replace bumper complete and anything remotely suspect plus full area repaint

@Accy cyclist - that's probably a very good price given the dealer will put a new MOT on and values are rising. The only issue is it's a V12 rather than a 4.0 litre.

Of the stuff you've posted, some of which has been absolute rubbish imo, this is one of the best.

If I had a garage that didnt have bikes and camping gear I'd have that as a nice weather car. Not sure I could afford to fuel it much further than the supermarket, and I bet my van would be faster. Lovely car.
