Just check its an Adam and not a Saddam. The moustache and funny accent will quickly get tiresome if its the latter.

Unfortunately it has one of these and not a CD! I prefer a radio and CD player! You buy CD's from charity shops at 4 for a quid. Play them till they start jumping, then bin them....simples!!!

That advantage is that its a Corsa in drag, so easy to fix and cheap for parts.

The disadvantage is that it's a Corsa in drag, so is as exciting to drive as a wheelybin.

I've only owned one Vauxhall in 47 years of driving. That was a G reg' 1969 Vauxhall Viva in mint green i bought off my brother in 1984. It was so underpowered I had to drop down to second gear to go up not too steep hills!

That Vauxhall Adam is pretty tidy wouldn't you say? I thought it'd be more than 2.5 thousand. The interior is well preserved! The driver's seat was as bit low, taking some effort to get in and out, but apart from that it felt OK. Let's see how it drives, when I have a go in it on Thursday! 😉

This in spades, you can't go wrong with a yaris
Edit The Vauxhall Adam Ant looks a nice motor, not too big & parts will be cheap for it too

They had another Yaris in today. This was a year younger than the one I posted yesterday and had been £1,000 more. Had been, as the dealer told me it'd been sold.

The best car you’ve posted so far, they’re brilliant. Reliable, good to drive. They go on for ever.

very sought after, they sell quickly.

Yes, the one above was much tidier inside than the one I posted yesterday. I'll still have a drive in yesterday's posted Yaris though to see if i prefer it over the Vauxhall. The dealer said the newer, sold one had done about the same miles as the one I posted about yesterday. The consolation of the one above being sold is that I'm not a fan of red cars that much. I know folk laugh about me choosing/liking cars for their colour scheme, more than their performance etc, but looks count, in my book! I much prefer that 'funky' yellow and black of the Vauxhall than plain old red!!😉

Another 2013 Vauxhall Adam Slam here, but £3, 995, which is a lot more than the one I saw today, going for £2,500! I hope the dealer got it right and he did mean £2,500, not £3,500! 🙄

Known as “dog nob red” in the trade

Accy, what's the longest journey you typically do, or is your use just 'around the doors' as you indicate? (Humour me, I have a subtext!)

Accrington, 8 miles there and back in one direction. Clitheroe 14 miles there and back in the opposite direction. Sometimes, but not that often Blackburn there and back which is 10 miles. I use my car almost every day of the year, though 40 percent of those days are very short joiurney days, doing about 1.75 miles a day. I don't use it on 40 percent of Sundays I'd say. On average, I do approximately 2,750 miles a year. 😉
