Seriously Accy, the 2010-2016/17 Generation Microbe is not a nice car at all. They were a very poor seller for a reason. "Made in India" is not a reassuring tagline for a car. Remember the ShittyRover...?

Your FIAT 500 will be a better car in most respects, other than the absence of rear doors.

My wife has had zero problems with her 2015 Micra, apart from tyres not staying inflated very well.

Thst doesn't alter the reality that they're made in India, dont drive as well as the Micra that went before or came after, and are considered the most unreliable of the K series Nissans. Reviews were accordingly poor and sales slow.

Im glad your wifes has been ticked boo, but that's missing the point.

I'm on the verge of buying this 1.4 injection Vauxhall Adam. I saw it today as I had another look round the place where the Micra is for sale.

The seller said it was a 1.2, but on trying it out and listening to the revs, my thoughts were 'Heck, this is quite potent for a 1.2 engine'! When I got back the seller said he'd got it wrong and it was a 1.4 i, not a 1.2. It has a partial glass roof and the seller said he'll give me a 12 months, not the usual 3 months warranty if/when I buy it.

No!

Youll struggle to sell it with a cat insurance marker, and some insurers wont cover them.

I tried it out today. It was a nice ride, obviously similar to my Fiat 500, but more 'plush' I'd say. I do like it, but with it being the same as my Fiat 500C, apart from it having a partial glass roof, not a soft top, I don't want an almost exact copy of my current car.

It's mot history is below , nothing too scary imho

Just had an MOT a few days ago.

A few advisories on older ones but not all cars pass straight away some garages do a service first and correct any faults they think that might cause a failure others mot first and fix whilst servicing

Tempting though

Not in the slightest! To me at least.

When I was buying my current big estate, I very briefly looked at Big BMW, Big Mercs, Audis and even VW wagons. The running costs put me off if the inflated asking price didn't.

That's said Honda wanted to charge me £32 for 4 flange head M8 bolts last week. And Hyundai wanted to charge £70 for a simple crank seal. On the flip side I thought £55 for a caliper was pretty reasonable

I collect my new to me Vauxhall Adam this Sunday. The car seller is giving me £1,000 for my in need of much repair Fiat 500. I think that's a very fair offer as it'd cost me a grand to get all its faults fixed, just so I could MOT it to sell. Mind you, yesterday I saw one just like mine, same year, same colour, same model, but with more miles on the clock and without a soft top roof.

£2,995 which is far more than I could've asked for/got if I'd done mine up to sell. Fair play to them. This is how they make a profit!👍
