It's a Royal Enfield not a Triumph.

Mine starts first pedal every time, and no oil leaks

Frank Crank .... As far as I know ...RE have been making Enfields since 1955, for their local market .... We stopped making them in the UK in 1970, when it all moved to india ...So anything newer than 1969 anywhere, was made in india. However they do now have a design studio back in the UK.

I have heard of folk that fly over to india, pick up their new bike and ride it back to the UK.... Can't say I think thats a good idea, but it'd be an amusing trip.

Oh and a bit of info that I always thought odd .... fancy car's always seem to come from farm impliment folk ... Lambo - Tractors / Aston Martin from David Brown Tractors.
However motorcycles have come from the weapons industry .... BSA - Birmingham Small Arms / Royal Enfield - From Enfield Rifles
