I found this story which appeared in a Scottish newspaper last month:

A WOMAN who fleeced men she met on the internet has been jailed.
Moira McTavish, 52, from Aberdeen, charmed online dates into parting with their bank details and into signing up for loans, the city's Sheriff's Court heard.
"Each of the victims said McTavish was very plausible," prosecutor Jock McSporran told the court. "Although all the men feel very foolish now.
"It appears McTavish targeted men who were older than her and who were, to put it plainly, grateful to get a date at their age.
"She persuaded her victims to buy cars and other goods, often on credit.
"McTavish would then disappear with the items, leaving the victims to pick up the bill."
Sheriff Archie MacDougal jailed McTavish for three months and told her: "The sentence I have passed means you will be released in about six weeks.
"Don't do this again."
