Hi all
Anyone know of any books on cycling relating to touring anywhere and mtb riding i've read a few but the stuff left is all about The tour and such like.

Books about cycle touring?
Anything by Anne Mustoe, Josie Dew (if you can cope with her writing style) could be a possibility.
French Revolutions by Tim Moore is proper funny.

I can recommend one of the first cycling / touring books 'Three Men on The Bummel' by Jerome K Jermone, which also happens to be hilarious!

The section about letting friends help fix your bike is still relevant 112 years after this book was written.

I can't say they are all fantastic, but the thing about books is that it's all personal taste, so if you can get them cheapish, there's not much lost. Alistair Humphreys is very popular. Also, our own Arallsop's Barring Mechanicals for a fairly intense riding experience doing the London-Edinburgh-London.

Scroll up and down that pages for book titles in other genres.

I'd second French Revolutions (although I know people who hate it) and Three Men on a Bummel.

I thoroughly recommend this book, best book on cycling touring that I have read and very inspiring. I want to do the same!!!!
