Really nice to get out on the road bike

A day off work today, so I thought I would get the road bike out and check it over. not ridden the road bike since last November.
So for the last 3 months I have been using the MTB to get to work.
All I can say is WOW, the difference in bikes is unbelievable, after riding the MTB for all those months, the road bike felt as light as a feather, so fast and agile, took a few miles to get use to the clipless pedals again.

Roll on Sunday, next day off and going for another bike ride

Yep, it's wonderful weather to be getting the summer bike out, at last. Boy, does it zip along in comparison to the winterised bike. Sunday is going to be positively balmy........16 or 17 degrees. That's getting close to cycle-shorts weather!!

All I can say is WOW, the difference in bikes is unbelievable,

I enjoyed the same feeling yesterday after a similar period of carbon-celibacy,using a steel tourer or tandem instead for very irregular riding.
