Rear Derailleur and Chain

Yes, that's correct. Locked my bike up at Birmingham New Street Station so well today, that the only thing they could steal from it was the chain and rear derailleur (Shimano 105).

Which put a stop to my efforts to ride it home.

I caught the train home, and it is mostly downhill from the station, so only a bit of walking.

To explain, I got the train to MK yesterday, and partly because there is no other feasible way to do it in time, and partly because I enjoy it, I rode into town after dropping my son off at school. I could take the train in, but we ride into school together, so I'm already on the bike.

But there is always an option of taking the train into town or back home again if I need to and have the time. The local station is only a 10 min walk from my house.
