Interesting, they do different sizes too
Does the Fibre Flare suffer from water ingress at all? Just I was thinking about buying 1 or 2 for winter as I have had quite a few rear lights and they have either let water in or the crappy plastic mounting brackets have broken. The only one that has been ok is made by Oxford I think, I have never had a Smart though.
Another query .... What's the battery life like & what type if battery is it?

Yes they do. The first one I had a couple of years back got killed by a rainstorm.
I sent back to Wiggle and they replaced.
However since then I have been putting a little grease around where the rubber cover meets the light tube and they have been fine in rain ever since.
The fibre flare does suffer from water ingress. I had some on a rucksack, worked fine for many months, but corrosion did start to set in, and the switch is tiny, so didn't take much to cause a complete failure. Most importantly, make sure the 'switch' is towards to top so no water can run into that section.
They are very good for visibility though !
