Hi,

I haven not used my bike in a long time. It is a specialised sirrus comp 2008. Today I finally got round to trying to repair little bits. I found that the rear wheel does not sit properly, it is at such an angle that it rubs quite a lot against the frame. (you wouldn't be able to ride it)
I thought I would try it on another bike to see whether it was the wheel or the bike. It was completely fine and spinning true on another bike. So what could the problem be?

Thanks

Sounds like it may have suffered some damage whilst in storage.
Remove the wheel and spun it to check its true, if it is refit it and make sure it's seated properly and centrally located in the dropouts and try again.
Post some pics if you're still having problems.

I go for not centralised in the dropouts too, have you tried fitting it correctly in the Sirrus again

Loosen the QR and allow the axle to settle fully in the dropouts before tightening again. Do this with the bike on its wheels. Never allow the wheel to rub the frame, it will do a lot of damage fast.
