On recommendation from a friend who's considerably a better/experienced cyclist than I am I ordered the folding ones. Hope that this will eliminate my puncture woes!

Sadly no tyre is completely puncture proof, but the Gatorskins do an excellent job - I've had one puncture in a year (that couldn't be explained). If you've been having issues make sure to check the rim of your wheel before fitting new tubes/tyres.

Thanks for the tip regarding the rim, I'll check that it's fine. I think I've just been unlucky, once had 2 punctures within 4 miles and couldn't find any relation between the two. Now how's that for bad luck!

I've been riding on 25x700 Gatorskins since the end of the summer.

I've been riding on 25x700 Gatorskins since the end of the summer.

Had mine on now for about a 100 miles. No punctures and no complaints. Seem to grip a little better than the standard Giant rubber also.

I run the same tyres all year round on my commuter; Schwalbe Lugano 23mm.

Just remember to check the tyres for gravel, etc. embedded into them.

Used them in all conditions , and they are spot on. Got them on both bikes and will continue to use them in future
