Does anyone out there know of a good camp site that - above all - allows fires? It would also help if it was by the sea, free of caravans, reasonably spacious, ok with dogs and had a nice pub reasonably close by. But the fires is a must.

I can recommend this 'un:
Park Farm
Bodiam
Robertsbridge
East Sussex
TN32 5XA

facilities are VERY basic (I was last there abt 4 yrs ago) but fires were allowed.

I can recommend a very good one. It isn't by the sea unfortunately but that doesn't matter. It's on the outskirts of shirebrook.

Shame 'basic' wont do for the other half.
I have use of a paddock, close to the sea  No caravans & fires allowed & very cheap, but the 'facilities' are very basic
